The Baptist Press reported that messengers approved the recommendation from the SBC Executive Committee that “those churches, entities and organizations in friendly cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention” which desire to use a descriptor other than “Southern Baptists” to indicate their involvement in the convention consider using Great Commission Baptists. The phrase, messengers agreed, is commended “as one fully in keeping with our Southern Baptist Convention identity.” The legal name of the convention will remain “Southern Baptist Convention.” Read more at http://m.bpnews.net/bpnews.asp?ID=38089 see also www.disciplemaking.net

I’m thankful for the publisher Crossway, in giving permission for having this online for free! You can access the PDF file of the book by clicking HERE.

And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.” Luke 22:31,32 For those who believe that Satan is the evil equivalent of God it is a foreign idea that Satan is actually an agent of God’s discipline. In the life of the unbeliever Satan is an agent of wrath but God holds no wrath for his own,
