Howdy.  I hope you are doing well as you and your family prepare for worshiping our Lord this Christmas season.  As you know we are in a week of prayer and fasting for international missions as we prepare to give to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering.  The following thoughts came out of me one day after reading a short article on evangelism and missions.  I believe in evangelism and missions because I believe its necessity is taught in the Bible.   The Bible declares that “there is one God, and [only] one mediator also between God and men, the man Jesus

The Gospel, biblically and richly understood, ought to shape everything we do in the local church.”  — Tim Keller I love that quote becauase it resonates with my own emerging understanding of the Gospel.  In fact we never graduate from that God’s of Christ that God has shown to us in his scriptures.  The Good news must relate to all of the Christian life or none of it at all.  We, as Christians, never graduate from the Gospel in order to become self made people.
