This is from Ray Ortland’s blog over at the Gospel Coalition.  It was good for me to read and helpful from making too much of theology over Christ. Spurgeon v. Hyper-Calvinism: “ In Spurgeon v. Hyper-Calvinism, Iain Murray draws four lessons from that conflict: 1. “Genuine evangelical Christianity is never of an exclusive spirit.
