Here is an article by Michael Patton in support of a Calvinistic soteriology because it doesn’t try to reduce the Gospel to our own human understanding. When we try to make everything in the gospel understadable to man (whether they are regenerate or unregenerate) we may be truncating the gospel by letting go of important Biblical truths. Evangelical today tend to have a “Sub-Christian” worldview because they don’t hold fully to the truths of scripture when they don’t like or understand something. This is a good thing. When we stand for what is right and go in the the right direction, not everyone will follow. People didn’t all follow Jesus as he continue to proclaim the Gospel, and they will not follow Faithful Christian churches, ministries, denominations, or schools. who are rightfully willing to stand for truth.
