What Is R.C. Sproul’s Position on Creation?

It is good to see fidelity to the Bible when one is struggling with the right doctrine of Creation.  It is my contention that a denial of Biblical 6 literal day creation leads one into a liberal theological position eventually which will be greatly harmful to one’s faith. What Is R.C. Sproul’s Position on Creation?: “ We are commonly asked for a clarification of R.C. Sproul’s position on Creation. Here is his commentary on the Westminster Confession’s phrase “…in the space of six days.” In the beginning, to create, or make of nothing, the world, and all things therein whether visible or

0.2% are Evangelical Christians

Here is some information about the Spiritual climate of Riverside and Orange Counties in California.  It show that with all the religion going on that there has been little effective evangelism.  What do these statistics mean to you?    Does that mean we need to plant more churches? Is it better to have 10 churches of 100 people or 1 church of 1000 as far as being accountable to  promote gathered worship in displaying God’s glory together that that fuels evangelism and missions? Are we obeying the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)? Should we strategize to be more effective in our evangelism? Is Church planting the best form

Your Gospel is Too Small

Here is a great quote from over at “The Gospel Driven Church” about the fullness of the Gospel and the way we tend to truncate it. Your Gospel is Too Small: “ A gospel which is only about the moment of conversion but does not extend to every moment of life in Christ is too small. A gospel that gets your sins forgiven but offers no power for transformation is too small. A gospel that isolates one of the benefits of union with Christ and ignores all the others is too small. A gospel that must be measured by your

The Consequence Of Fast Food Theology – A Flat Bible

Context Determines Meaning In February had a very disturbing conversation with 3 Mormon elders who would not look at the context of a particular passage of Scripture.  Instead they wanted to standardize all definitions of the word “one” based on a traditional interpretation of John 17:20-21.  This conversation occurred after a talk on Mormonism at our Wednesday Night Bible Study.  These Mormon elders came ready for debate and refused to listen to deal with hermeneutical issues (the science of biblical interpretation) first, so that we could agree on how we go about explaining and interpreting a certain portions of scripture.  American Christianity tends to want things made
